The SAM Club Azure User Group is a group of like minded individuals, who are considering the move to Azure or are already on the journey. The idea is to share information and experiences, tackle any issues or concerns that IT heads have in an open forum with Microsoft.
Now on our 6th meeting, the group have been gaining some good momentum and new topics are decided by the group at the end of each meeting.
The event is suitable for CIOs, Heads of IT / Infrastructure
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 16th October in London and we have a guest speaker from Law Firm Farrer, who will be talking about their approach and experience in moving their infrastructure to Azure. Ian Nicholls from the SAM Club will also be speaking about – Understanding the compliance rules with Hybrid Benefits and Windows Server plus the recent release into preview for the Dedicated Host option.
Event Start: 8.45am
Event Close: 11.00am
Here are some testimonials from the event
“Great kick off to the Azure User Group. Found it very insightful. Looking forward to the next one and hopefully using the sessions to assist us with our thought process for moving to Azure. Looking forward to the next meeting.”
“I found the Azure User Group meeting extremely useful, as it was good to meet up and discuss with fellow counterparts in other organisations that are in similar positions and are able to share their experiences. Also, being able to provide feedback to Microsoft face to face and how they can help was also very beneficial. Can’t wait for the next one”
