Effective Date: April 1, 2026
Audience: Clients using Microsoft Power Apps Per App Plan
Microsoft has announced the retirement of the Power Apps Per App Plan license. This change impacts organisations currently using this plan to run individual apps or portals within the Power Platform
Since its introduction in 2019, Power Apps has undergone several changes, from the original Plan 1 and Plan 2 to the per-user and per-app model. In 2021, pricing was halved, and the per-app license shifted from covering two apps to just one. Then in 2023, the name changed again when Power Apps Premium replaced the per-user license.
Now, in 2026, we have yet another significant update.
