Before founding The SAM Club, Bev built a career across a number of roles, most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing Manager at Transam, where he revolutionised how software sales, maintenance, and support renewals were managed. When Transam was taken over by a larger company, Bev saw an opportunity to do things differently — laying the foundation for what would become The SAM Club: a company built on independence, transparency, and client-focused software asset management.

Unlike many in the industry, Bev insisted on steering clear of reselling software, ensuring that every recommendation was made with the client’s best interests at heart.
