Most Azure overspend comes from six places
Here's what we look for in each.
Reserved Instances and Savings Plans
Are you paying full pay-as-you-go rates for workloads that run all year? Committing the right amount at the right time can lower your rate substantially.
Typically 30–60% vs pay-as-you-goAzure Hybrid Benefit
If you already own eligible Windows Server or SQL Server licences, you may be paying twice. We check your entitlements against what you're running.
Up to 40% Windows Server · 55% SQL ServerRight-sizing
Virtual machines and disks that are oversized, or not running at all, still cost money. We match size to actual use.
Test and dev environments
Non-production workloads sitting on production subscriptions usually cost more than they should. We check they're on the right one.
Zombie resources
Orphaned disks, idle machines and unattached IP addresses are like lights left on in an empty office. Nobody's using them, but they're all on the bill.
Storage costs
Old snapshots, over-premium tiers and data that should have been archived add up quickly.
