Lansweeper has issued a partner notice confirming changes to its end-customer pricing and packaging, effective 1 September 2026. This note summarises what’s changing, what it means if your organisation is on the Pro plan, and how our MSP-licensed Enterprise route can give you Enterprise-level capability at a lower cost than buying Enterprise direct from Lansweeper.
What’s changing
From 1 September 2026, Lansweeper is moving from tiered plans with included asset blocks to a platform fee plus per-asset pricing model. Packaging simplifies to three plans — Free, Pro, and Enterprise — and the Starter plan is retired for new business.
Annual price = Platform fee + (Total assets × Per-asset price). This applies to new subscriptions placed on or after 1 September 2026.
- Quotes issued before 1 September 2026 will be honoured for 30 days from the quote date.
- It is unclear whether existing customers may continue to renew under their current licence, price, and package.
- Asset capacity scales in increments of 500 above each plan’s starting point — there are no large fixed tiers to jump between.
New plan structure
| Plan | Platform fee | Per asset | Starting point |
| Free | £0 | n/a | Up to 100 assets |
| Pro | £1,999 / yr | £2.49 / yr | From 1,000 assets |
| Enterprise | £9,999 / yr | £3.49 / yr | From 2,000 assets |

What this means if you’re on Pro
Under the new model, Pro customers pay a fixed platform fee plus a per-asset charge on every asset Lansweeper discovers, with no ability to exclude asset types that don’t need active licensing. As your estate grows, this cost scales with your total asset count — including devices like monitors that add to the bill but add little to what you actually need to manage.
Lansweeper’s own route to more capability is its Enterprise plan — but that carries a much higher platform fee (£9,999) and a higher per-asset rate (£3.49), on top of counting every discovered asset.
Pro vs Enterprise: what actually changes
Lansweeper’s own plan comparison shows that Pro and Enterprise share the same core intelligence and security capability. Vulnerability insights, lifecycle insights, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, advanced permissions, and the full integrations library are all already included on Pro. What Enterprise adds is scale, depth of access, and support:
| Capability | Pro | Enterprise |
| Asset ceiling | Scales up to 9,000 assets | Starts at 10,000; scales without limit |
| Installations | Up to 3 | More than 3 (unlimited) |
| Saved / active workflows | 5 saved / 3 active | Unlimited |
| API & webhooks | Limited to proof-of-concept | Full access |
| Attachment size per asset | Up to 15MB | Up to 30MB |
| Support | Pro Support | Enterprise Support + dedicated Customer Success Manager |
| Deployment help | Not included | Global deployment assistance + optional Concierge onboarding |
In short: the features that drive risk reduction and compliance are already on Pro. Enterprise’s premium buys headroom past Pro’s asset ceiling, full API and webhook access for integration-heavy environments, unlimited automation workflows, and a higher level of support — exactly the capability our MSP Enterprise route gives you, without Lansweeper’s direct Enterprise price tag.
Feature comparison based on Lansweeper’s published plan comparison (lansweeper.com/pricing). Lansweeper has indicated some packaging and feature availability may change alongside the September 2026 pricing update; we’ll update this guidance once details are confirmed.
Our MSP Enterprise route
The Sam Club offers Enterprise-tier Lansweeper access through our MSP licensing route. It’s licensed per asset only — there is no platform fee — at £0.40 per asset per month.
Because our licensing is asset-type aware, we can review your discovered inventory with you and exclude asset types that don’t warrant active licensing — such as monitors and other passive peripherals — so you only pay for the assets that matter to your management and security posture.
Billing is monthly and based on the average number of assets actually in use that month — not an annual asset count fixed at renewal. That means any asset-type review has an instant effect: exclude a batch of monitors or retire a device type this month, and your very next invoice reflects it, with no need to wait for a renewal cycle.
Worked example: a 3,000-asset estate
To illustrate, here’s how the costs compare for a client with 3,000 discovered assets:
| Route | Basis | Monthly | Annual |
| Lansweeper Direct — Pro | £1,999 + (3,000 × £2.49) | £789.08 | £9,469 |
| Lansweeper Direct — Enterprise | £9,999 + (3,000 × £3.49) | £1,705.75 | £20,469 |
| The Sam Club MSP — Enterprise | 3,000 assets × £0.40/mo | £1,200.00 | £14,400 |
Against Lansweeper’s own Enterprise pricing, our MSP route saves this client around £6,069 a year (roughly 30%) for the same Enterprise-tier capability, because it removes the platform fee entirely and charges a lower effective rate per asset.
Further savings through asset-type optimisation
Because the MSP route licenses by asset type, removing devices that don’t need active management reduces the bill directly. For example, if 750 of this client’s 3,000 assets are monitors that don’t need to be actively licensed:
| Scenario | Billable assets | Monthly | Annual |
| Full estate, no exclusions | 3,000 | £1,200.00 | £14,400 |
| After excluding 750 monitor-type assets | 2,250 | £900.00 | £10,800 |
Excluding those assets brings the total saving versus Lansweeper’s direct Enterprise pricing to around £9,669 a year (roughly 47%), while retaining full Enterprise-tier functionality across the assets that matter. The exact saving depends on the client’s actual asset mix, which we’d confirm through a short inventory review.
Note: staying on Pro remains the lowest headline cost at this asset count (£9,469/year), but doesn’t carry Enterprise-tier features. The MSP route is the value option for clients who need Enterprise capability without paying Lansweeper’s direct Enterprise pricing.
In other news: Bridgepoint to acquire a majority stake in Lansweeper
On 27 July 2026, Bridgepoint Group agreed to acquire a majority stake in Lansweeper. Long-time shareholder Dovesco retains a minority stake, Insight Partners and Imker Group are exiting their positions, and Lansweeper’s CEO Dave Goossens and the management team remain significant shareholders. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2026, subject to regulatory approval; financial terms were not disclosed.
Lansweeper says the investment will support continued product innovation, expanded AI and cybersecurity capabilities, international growth, and further acquisitions as it builds out its Technology Asset Intelligence platform.
For clients, this points to continued investment behind the platform rather than any instability — but ownership changes like this are also a reminder that vendor pricing and packaging can keep evolving as a business scales, which is exactly why we’d recommend reviewing your licensing setup periodically rather than leaving it on auto-renewal.
