Microsoft has confirmed a price increase for Power Apps Premium, effective 1 January 2027.
Two Premium plans are affected. Power Apps Premium list price rises from $20 to $22 per user, per month, and Power Apps Premium (2,000-seat minimum) rises from $12 to $14 per user, per month — a flat $2 increase on both, with comparable increases applied in local currencies including GBP. Microsoft says no capabilities or entitlements are being removed alongside the change, and existing nonprofit and education discounts will continue to apply.
The new prices apply to all new purchases, renewals, and co-terms with a subscription term starting on or after 1 January 2027. If your current term runs past that date, you’ll keep today’s pricing until it ends — so the timing of your next renewal or co-term matters more than the announcement date itself.
If you hold a lot of Power Apps Premium licences, now is a good time to check how many you’re actually using and when your current term is due to end — renewing or co-terming before 1 January 2027 locks in today’s pricing for the new term.
