The SAM Club is off to a great start in 2024, as we are busy helping our clients with their software renewals. This year, we have a lot of exciting projects on the go especially with Microsoft.
We are working with five clients who need to renew their CSPs (NCE) in the next two months. CSPs are annual contracts that offer flexibility and potential cost savings for cloud services.
We have a project for a new client to assist them with their Microsoft renewal, which involves an Azure analysis for compliance and cost savings.
We have five clients who are exploring their options for an Enterprise Agreement renewal or a switch to a CSP. An Enterprise Agreement is a three-year contract which provides price fixing for the term with our analysis of the CSP for price comparison which may be a cheaper alternative.
We have one client who is preparing for their annual true-up, which is a process of reporting and paying for any changes in their license usage. We are reviewing their licenses to ensure they are compliant and optimized.
We have one client who is interested in upgrading from an M365 E3 to an M365 E5 plan during their current Enterprise Agreement. Discussions are underway with Microsoft for a potential concession.
With these projects, we are conducting an internal analysis for nine of these clients on their assigned licenses in the Office 365 portal or a full Microsoft license review that includes all their installed servers.
Then you add the enquiries on Copilot to the mix and keeping up to date with the news from the Broadcom purchase of VMware and it’s been a non-stop start to 2024.
We are proud of the work we do at The SAM Club. Being independent, we always ensure our clients are fully informed of their options with our aim to help them reduce costs whilst ensuring they remain compliant.
