Effective from 1st March 2023, Microsoft enhanced its Intune suite of cloud-based tools to further improve cybersecurity and IT efficiency for organisations.
The existing Intune plan which is also included in the following products has become Intune Plan 1: Microsoft 365 Business Premium/E3/E5/F1/F3; Enterprise Mobility + Security E3/E5
The new Intune Plan 2 and Intune Suite are add-ons at additional costs.
- Microsoft Intune Plan 2: This is an add-on to Plan 1 and offers advanced endpoint management capabilities, including management and configuration of specialty devices and Microsoft Tunnel for Mobile Application Management.
- Microsoft Intune Suite: This is also an add-on to Plan 1 and unifies a series of mission-critical advanced endpoint management and security capabilities. The capabilities of the suite are integrated with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Security across endpoint platforms for both cloud and on-premises co-managed devices. The Intune Suite includes Remote Help (standalone) and all capabilities that come with Intune Plan 2.
