Microsoft has announced a further change coming in March 2022 where they are adding unlimited dial-in minutes to Teams Audio Conferencing to the vast majority of O365/M365 SKUs including:
- Microsoft 365 E3/F1/F3
- Office 365 E1/E3
- Microsoft 365 Business Basic/Standard/Premium
This is great news following the recent price increases announcement and provides unlimited dial-in options widening the scope of Teams. Any user will be able to join a meeting from virtually any device regardless of location. Previously Audio Conferencing was only available as a separately licensed SKU or with O365 E5 & M365 E5 license subscriptions. The SAM Club has identified two promotions running for Enterprise Agreement and CSP/Web Direct Customers until 31st December 2021 so that you can obtain these licenses for free before March 2022. Note this is only available for net new Audio Conferencing seats.
So, if you have existing separately licensed add-on SKU’s for Audio Conferencing for the O365/M365 plans listed above, then make a note not to renew these after March 2022.
