Microsoft has renamed several of its Advanced Threat Protection Products to unify its Microsoft 365 Defender and Azure Defender technologies:
- Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (for users) is now Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Azure Advanced Threat Protection (for users) is now Microsoft Defender for Identity
- Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection is now Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection for Servers is now Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (server)
There are no licensing changes with this rebranding.
